I'll step up to the plate again to coordinate this for the con, but I will start by asking for volunteers to help me out.

Help Needed
I need an accomplice the day before wing night who can come with me to pick up the fruit. If you have an SUV, then give me a ride and I will give you some gas money. The drive to get the fruit is about 40 minutes at worst. I think. I cannot remember correctly. However, I want to get the fruit the day before because doing it on the day of just did not work out well for me. Picking it up the morning of the con again because I can't get there early enough to do it the day before. Bleh.

I need an accomplice on the day after the con ends to either help me cart leftover fruit to a shelter, or to do it solo. It almost didn't fit in my car last time. I'm going to try and find a closer shelter to donate to, or see if they will pick it up.

Lastly, I would like you guys to reply here and tell me about Fear The Fruit. Do you have a memorable moment to share? Do you know the history behind it? Tell me about how FTF got started and the good it has done. Tell me why you support FTF.

I support Fear The Fruit, because in general I think our hobby is more supportive of unhealthy lifestyles than most other hobbies. This brings good, sweet, delicious, healthy treats for people to enjoy and can help shift our hobby away from candy and soda

I am really hoping that I can get enough quotes from this to use in making a poster or banner or something.

What I would love to do is have a "History of Fear The Fruit" poster to put up by the table that explains how this got started, who handled it, the different groups that have benefited from it, and such.. In order to do that, I need people to tell me the stories
